"Hello, my name is Summer and I am Head Student at Southfield School.
I study Maths, Further Maths, Geography and Psychology and am looking to study Mathematics & Statistics at university.
Throughout my past 7 years, Southfield has not only supported me academically but also encouraged me to grow in so many different areas. The school has a community that encourages you to take all the opportunities that are presented to you or to be proactive in finding opportunities to develop beyond the classroom. Mostly we are encouraged to be whoever we want to be.
My teachers have gone above and beyond for me, throughout my time here, reinforcing our school values of Optimism, Resilience, Balance, Individuality and Synergy within me. Outside of lessons I have been given opportunities to attend external lectures; create a school newsletter; run events for the whole school and ultimately become Head Student.
I could not be prouder to represent such an outstanding, world class school and I am sure that the skills that I have gained will stand be in good stead for the rest of my life."
