Chair of Governors

I feel privileged to be Chair of the Board of Governors at Southfield and have been really impressed to see the excellent work going on at school both academically and within the wider school community. 

The school slogan “A world of possibilities at a World Class School” is more than just words, it represents the special place it is. We should be a proud of the dedication, passion, opportunities and kindness within school life. This applies whether you’re a student, parent, staff member or part of the wider Kettering community. Everyone has a part to play in shaping the ambition and success of the school.

I look forward to supporting our new Headteacher Chris Meadway as he embarks on building the future success for Southfield as we approach the 50^th anniversary of the school.

The anniversary also coincides with my 50^th birthday and I feel proud to be sharing my special year with everyone connected with the school past and present.
