Over this half term, the Year 9/10 basketball team have been training on a Monday and playing friendly fixtures on a Thursday at Latimer. The team have worked together and demonstrated great communication skills and teamwork, and a lot of successful shots. On Thursday 1st February, we competed in the Corby and Kettering District tournament. We competed against Bishop, Latimer, CBA and Prince William. We had successful wins against Latimer and CBA, however narrowly lost against Bishop and Prince William, resulting in coming 3rd overall. The team are continuing to train and learn from our weaknesses to ensure next time round we come out winning! Well done to Maddy, Tianna, Chloe, Layla, Zoe, Tino and Salsabel.
