Lord Award Presentation

Peter Lord came in to school today to present the Lord Award for Art, Craft and Design to our prize winner, Year 13 student Olivia Tilley.

Olivia has embraced the creative process throughout her A level studies and produced successful outcomes from a number of specialism such as textiles, painting, photography and sculpture.

She drew inspiration from a range of environmental and domestic issues and her artworks reflect the world around us.

The Lord Award was established by the late Merle Lord, former Chair of Governors for the school, and designed by her husband Peter Lord, who we were honoured to invite to present the award in Merle’s memory and to celebrate artistic and creative talent in our school.
