Food Bank Collections

Over the next few weeks, form groups will be collecting items to support The Kettering Foodbank.

Fourteen million people live below the poverty line in the UK, with individuals going hungry every day for a range of reasons, from benefit delays to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income.  In 2017/18, The Trussell Trust gave out 1,332,952 three day emergency food supplies to people in crisis.

In particular, the Kettering Food Bank have requested the following items:

  • Tinned Meat – Meatballs, chicken in sauce etc.
  • Tinned Veg, sweetcorn, carrots, potatoes etc.
  • Tinned Rice Pudding
  • Small bags of sugar
  • Toiletries

This will be launched to students in assembly this week.  Many thanks for your continued support.  #NoOneShouldGoHungry
